Brass Watch Games

About

I am an aspiring game developer making making small, independent video games. It’s currently just a fun hobby, but I have high hopes of doing it full time down the road. Starting in the fall, I will be studying game design at the University of California Santa Cruz. This is the main website where I will post my games and any news relating to them.

My main project right now is Shipyard, a 2D turn-based space strategy game with full ship construction and some RPG elements. Started in 2013, it’s still got a long way to go before I can call it finished. That said, I’m rather proud of what I have so far.

I first started releasing my work under the name “nerdboy64,” a forum username from when I was younger which I never bothered to change. Originally, I created Minecraft modifications under the name, and kept it when I graduated to making my own games. After a while, I decided that, if I wanted to act like a business, I should take on a more professional name. After giving it some thought, I settled on “Brass Watch Games,” as it reflects my love of Victorian/steampunk technology.
